PHO280112 is an integrated 12-channel 25.78 Gbps / 28.05 Gbps trans-impedance amplifier (TIA) with CDR and equalizer, serving as a complete single-chip transmission solution for optical modules.The center-to-center pitch between output pads is 250 μm to ensure compatibility with standard optical interfaces.
Each channel includes a high-sensitivity TIA with adjustable bandwidth, a high-performance CDR, and an output driver with adjustable swing and 3-tap de-emphasis, all of which are controllable via an I2C serial interface.The reference-clock-free CDR of the PHO280112can retime at 25.78 Gbps, 27.95 Gbps, and 28.05 Gbps.Legacy or non-standard data rates can be supported through the bypass function.The PHO280112 bare die measures 3.1 mm x 2 mm and is supplied in waffle pack format.
